History
National Onion, Inc. began in 1982 as a fresh fruit & vegetable brokerage firm located in El Paso, TX. A partnership was soon formed with growers in the area of Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico, about 250 miles south of El Paso, to produce the highest quality onion, jalapeno, and chile products. While the vegetable and fruit brokerage continues, the heart of the business is now the sale and distribution of fresh onions as well as fresh and processed jalapeno and chile products.

National Onion Inc. maintains two sales offices. The main office is located in Las Cruces, New Mexico and serves as the corporate office and accounting. All of National Onion Inc.'s invoicing and record keeping flow through the New Mexico office. This office is also dedicated to the sales and logistics of our jalapeno and chile products through Luke Smith.

Utah Sales Office
Our Pleasant Grove, Utah office acts as a satellite sales office for Steven, Micah, Luke and Gabriel Smith. The location allows our salesmen to be closer to the northern onion crops of Utah, Washington, Idaho and Oregon and to be in better touch with the local growers and shippers.
